Cipta Hotel Wahid Hasyim

This hotel stands out with its take on traditional Javanese architecture, although inside, its rooms have not weathered the years that well. The bed is huge but mattress on the hard side, the bathroom well-appointed, clean and bright, the windows large (although with no particular view), the wifi good and AC on the tepid side. There is lots of space to store your things, but detailing in the room has gotten tatty. The place can be very private and quiet, but that also depends on how many guests there. The breakfast is decent, but definitely enough, and is offered in a clean and proper dining area next to the reception. The elevator is actually quite fast! The hotel is located at the base of Jalan Jaksa, in a more upscale enclave of hotels and office buildings, and within walking distance to whatever amenities you may be looking for in Menteng. The area isn't crazy for dining and cafes, but overall, its immediate surroundings are clean and upscale.

Its my dad's favourite place to stay. Been to Indonesia many times and always booked Cipta Hotel. Near to Sarinah , Thamrin and Tanah Abang. Theres alotsa street food stalls along the street. Easy to find food.🥰🥰🥰

Wonderful Hotel in the best district of Jakarta. The interior is a bit old, but for my taste, it gave it a special flair. Everything is super clean, mattresses are very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and always helping asap. Our air condition was making some noise, staff fixed it on the spot. We'll definitely be back!
